| 125 - Thrust Force Analysis of a Shaft Motor <DP> |
Overview

Closeup |
Shaft motors have been widely used in motion control systems and machine
tools due to their capability for high-speed performance, high acceleration
and deceleration as well as accurate positioning. The magnet is arranged
in the center of the coil and the magnetic flux that is produced can be
efficiently converted into thrust force.
This example presents the use of a magnetic field analysis to obtain the
thrust force of a shaft motor. |
Thrust Force
| The thrust force waveform is indicated in Fig. 1 and the flux lines at
a translation distance of 25.5 mm are indicated in Fig. 2.This shaft motor
can achieve an average thrust force of 16.5 N, as indicated in Fig. 3.1.
The thrust force of the shaft motor is produced by the magnetic flux of
the magnet and the magnetic flux of the coil. |
