1. Policy for protection of personal information
We have been certified by JIPDEC to display the Privacy Mark. JSOL guarantees that, in compliance with our "Personal Information Protection Policy",
we will implement adequate privacy safeguard for the applicant's personal information, and rigorously manage it.
2. Purpose of using personal information
The applicant's personal information will be used for the following purposes.
For any other purposes, JSOL will inform the applicant of the objective in advance to obtain his / her consent.
1) To inform the applicant of:
a. the software products developed or sold by JSOL
b. the update of the products
c. new version
d. change or discontinuation of service
and also to respond effectively to the applicant's enquiries.
2) To send information on seminars, symposia, exhibitions, lectures, and other events organized by JSOL.

3. Disclosure of personal information
In order to issue a license for a product which JSOL sells as a distributor, the applicant's personal information submitted in the application maybe provided to the developer of the product. JSOL doesn't intend to provide the information to outside the company, provided, however, that the situation is inapplicable to any Section in Article 3.
4. Consignment of personal information
JSOL is entitled to disclose personal information to a third-party service provider, within the scope of achieving each Section in Article 2.
"Consignment" here means that JSOL entrusts personal information it owns to a third party in order to subcontract its service such as information processing.
5. Applicant's voluntariness of providing information to JSOL and result that may affect the applicant by not providing it
Mandatory items (items with an asterisk * in the entry form) must be filled in. An application with omission of the required data may be invalid. Other items are optional, but the applicant is kindly requested to fill them in if there are no objections.
6. How to file a claim, or to ask for amendments or discontinuation
(In case the applicant files a claim, JSOL will immediately take measures such as to amend or discontinue the use of his / her personal information, in compliance with "Disclosed Particulars based on the Personal Information Protection Law".
