JMAG Users Conference 2017  Event

Helping you design and create machines is what drives us. Our mission is to continue advancing engineering software you need in order to make exceptional products.
The main purpose of the Users Conference is to allow participants to exchange technology, and we would like it to be a place where everyone is brought closer together to share the vision of a brighter future for device manufacturing.
We hope you enjoy the exhibitions and technical discussions by JMAG's technical partners.

Exhibitors

Student Session

An orientation will be held for all students during the JMAG Users Conference.
This will provide an opportunity to directly contact technology professionals and learn about trends in the practical application of electromagnetics to real-world products. All interested students are welcome.

Student Seminar
- The Most Important Way of Thinking About Electromechanical Design According to Professor Miller. -

Professor Miller, a leading motor designer, will give a 70-minute lecture for students.

JMAG Student Ambassador
Kick-off and introduction of the JMAG Ambassador System.

JMAG will assist students in the promotion and planning of using the motor design tool JMAG-Express Online.
For JMAG Student Ambassadors, students they represent will plan and implement strategies for using JMAG-Express Online.
In addition to utilizing this technology, this will challenge planning and promotion abilities.
This is also a space for the exchange of opinions among student ambassadors. The details of this system will be explained on the day. Please join us.

Presentation

Students are welcome to listen to any presentation they like during the JMAG Users Conference.
Academics and engineers at the forefront of innovation in a variety of fields have been invited to present leading-edge topics, CAE use, and case examples using JMAG.

Technology Discussion (Poster / Panel)

Here, you can have discussions with JMAG developers and engineers. Please share your thoughts with us on anything from current the JMAG initiatives to the future of JMAG. We value everyone's input.

Student Seminar
"The most important way of thinking about electromechanical design according to Professor Miller."
Professor Miller will lecture on fundamental and important ideas that will serve as design guidelines on electrical equipment.
The relationship between theory and practice will be described to teach the fundamentals of the physical equations of electricity/structure and how they relate to initial designs, understanding of test results, failure analysis, and others.
Regarding design methods, we will learn by referring to old and new design examples. By comparing the old and new methods, we learn about the possibilities that enormous changes have brought about with new materials, equipment, power supply, and control methods. Based on that, we can obtain clues for our future designs.
