Keynote Speech / Special Speech
Mr. Shunji Oki,
Deputy General Manager, EV and HEV Component Engineering Dep. Motor Engineering Group,
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
This presentation will introduce Nissan’s EV strategy with technology trends and market conditions. It will also cover the “Nissan Intelligent Mobility” initiative whose objective is the realization of a safe and sustainable society for people around the world.
As an example of this, we will report on the NOTE e-POWER that was released in November last year, and the future direction that motor development for vehicles will take.
Additionally, we will showcase the history of NISSAN’s motor development for electrified vehicles, the role JMAG has played in it, and our hopes for the future.
Mr. Bernd Cebulski,
Team Manager, Advance Development,
Electric Drives have been around more than 120 years and they are now the workhorses in industry consuming almost 40% of all worldwide electrical energy. However, their use as automotive traction drive in high volume production is still new and puts some additional demands to performance figures and package. Due to limited space and difficult environmental conditions there is room for improvements and new ideas. Moreover, industrialization together with the high number of produced parts requires highly automatized manufacturing and therefore influences the electrical and mechanical design.
The market nowadays shows a variety of solutions depending on manufacturer and their specific approach of solving the integration problems into automotive system environment. Finite element simulation is one of the key factors in predicting performance and optimization of the numerous parameter combinations and find suitable design solutions.
Hello, this is the Users Conference secretariat, Tomomi Igarashi.
We are pleased to announce the 24th JMAG Users Conference.
JSOL Corporation would like the Users Conference each year to be an opportunity for users to communicate and share ideas.
A wealth of content will be provided to satisfy a range of skill levels including JMAG wizards and beginners, as well as those who have not yet participated in the Users Conference.
We have invited presenters leading in various fields to discuss the latest technology topics both in and outside the country, as well as case studies using JMAG for various sessions such as motors, optimization, and loss.
The latest version of JMAG will also be presented at this Users Conference. We hope you use this opportunity to rediscover the magic of JMAG.
For those who have not yet joined us, those who could not participate in the previous year, those who have not attended for several years, and those who join us every year – we welcome all of you.
We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces!
