The JMAG Users Conference is proud to hold an orientation for students. This orientation aims to provide each participant with an introduction to the magnetic field analysis technology that is used for a variety of applications to develop actual products as well as an opportunity to network with technology professionals. All students interested are welcome.
Student Seminars
The student seminars will be held in the afternoon of December 10th and December 11th. All students are welcome to attend the seminars outlined below:

- Introduction to Magnetic Field Analysis
The JSOL Corporation’s engineers introduce electromagnetics, magnetic materials, the magnetic circuit method, and the fundamental principals of the finite element method.
- Introduction to the Magnetic Field Analysis used for the PM Motor Development of Electric Vehicles
The JSOL Corporation’s engineers introduce how magnetic field analyses are actually implemented in product development using a PM motor for electric vehicles as a specific example.
Presentations
Students are welcome to attend the presentations that are held throughout the JMAG Users Conference. Academic and technological professionals leading innovation in a variety of fields have been invited to present leading-edge topics and CAE activities in addition to providing examples of how they are utilizing JMAG.
Poster Session
The JSOL Corporation’s engineers outline a wide range of technologies as well as describe the contents of each poster.
A series of posters are exhibited to outline technology related to magnetic field analysis while providing information for those new to analysis software.
