New JMAG Ver.23.2 Out Now
JMAG-Designer Ver. 23.2 was released in September 2024.
JMAG is being developed to automate design. To this end, Ver. 23.2 has even more improved functionality. In order to achieve automated design, Ver. 23.2 has even more improved functionality.
Improved performance of optimization calculation
Efficiency CPU usage achieves an average of 75 % (750 times faster on average than one job at a time) when 1,000 optimization jobs are distributed, and dimension ranges are derived within 15 minutes that allow exploration of large areas while preventing shape breakdowns. You can explore the design space at high speed, making efficient use of computational resources.
Create surrogate models
JMAG can create surrogate models using the results of JMAG calculations. Surrogate models created in JMAG can be used in third party applications. As one example of how surrogate models can be used, you can perform AFM sizing. You can instantly get the AFM geometry that meets your motor power and voltage requirements.
JMAG-Express
JMAG-Express can evaluate motor windings for dielectric breakdown. The ability to evaluate for dielectric breakdown simultaneously with efficiency maps, temperatures, and stresses means that a more multi-disciplinary evaluation can be done earlier in the design process. Thus, you can reduce design rework.
JMAG-RT
An open-end winding model of WFSM can be created in JMAG-RT. You can use the circuit and control simulator to study the control of open-end winding motors, not only PM motors, but also WFSM. The extended applicability of JMAG-RT allows you to proceed with the design process for open-end winding motors while maintaining system compatibility.

JMAG Users Conference 2024 in Tokyo
JSOL Corporation would like the Users Conference each year to be an opportunity for users to communicate and share ideas.
