Introducing JMAG-Designer Ver.24.1:
Multiple Model/Case Result Comparisons Using JMAG Design Explorer

In April 2025, JMAG-Designer Ver. 24.1 was released.
Today, we’d like to introduce JMAG Design Explorer, a tool that enables you to compare and evaluate design proposals.

Multiple Model/Case Result Comparisons Using JMAG Design Explorer

JMAG Design Explorer lets users compare and review optimization results for multiple models and cases.
Analysis contents are automatically stored in the database. The accumulated information and past analysis assets can be evaluated collectively in JMAG Design Explorer to narrow down the most appropriate design proposal across different models.

We’ve prepared a 3-minute introductory video-please take a moment to watch it!

Webinar: Keeping the Motor Cool with JMAG

Thermal limits directly affect the performance, efficiency, and durability of electric machines. In this webinar, we explore how JMAG integrates detailed electromagnetic loss modeling with advanced thermal simulations to predict coil, magnet, and core temperatures under real-world duty cycles. See how JMAG helps engineers evaluate thermal behavior, compare cooling strategies, and design motors that meet performance goals without overheating.

We will also highlight the new capabilities in JMAG 24.1, which include estimating continuous output rating conditions by automatically accounting for the allowable temperature limits of the coil and magnet. We’ll walk through real-world applications across automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors, showing how thermal analysis drives smarter design decisions.
