Overview
In order to accurately calculate the copper loss of a coil, it is necessary to faithfully reproduce the current distribution in the wire. Within the wires, deviations are caused by harmonics due to PWM control and leakage magnetic flux (Fig. a). In order to capture these phenomena, the wires are modeled and analysis considering eddy currents is done. JMAG can create wires with fewer steps.
This document shows how to create many wires at once using the wire template.
