Overview

Hysteresis analysis using play models offers highly accurate iron loss simulations. Play models can take advantage of multiple hysteresis curves created based on measured results, but measured data is not always compatible with simulation analyses. If the measured data has distortion, users need to correct the distortion to use that data in an analysis. Moreover, analyses require a consistent interval between hysteresis curves, but the measured data does not always have a consistent interval. The JMAG Hysteresis Curve Creator can convert measured data into a format that is compatible with analyses.
This tutorial describes the procedures to correct measured hysteresis curve data using the JMAG Hysteresis Curve Creator to generate data compatible with analyses.
