Abstract
Numerical calculation of AC loss was performed by JMAG in which magnetic field dependence of critical current was taken into account. A cylindrical superconductor was assumed since theoretical analysis was simple. The Kim model was used for expression of magnetic field dependence of critical current. On the other hand, a differential equation for an internal magnetic field was derived from force balance equation and numerically solved. An AC loss was estimated from the internal magnetic field distribution. These both results was coincide well and an accuracy of calculation by finite element method was confirmed.
