Abstract
By using an electromagnetic field analysis （finite element method), we can calculate thrust and magnetic flux density without depending on experiences. Recently, the electromagnetic field analysis came to be used to design motors and magnetic sensors by speed up of a computer and marketing an analytical software. This paper discusses a design method of magnetic circuit and a design of linear DC motor for high-speed positioning.
