Abstract
In Ichinokura and Nakamura laboratory of Tohoku University, a general purpose electromagnetic field analysis software JMAG has been introduced since 2003. We use JMAG to analyze and design various inductors and rotating machinery, and also to compare and verify our original analysis method, Reluctance Network Analysis (RNA). In this presentation, I will describe the use of JMAG in our laboratory referring to examples of success and failure.
