Event Report
We held a JMAG Users Conference in China on November 23rd. IDAJ-China, our distributor, were the ones to actually hold ICSC2016 on November 22nd and 23rd, and JMAG used Hall 1 on the second day to hold the users conference. We had 16 users attend, which wasn’t a lot of participants. Currently, many of JMAG’s China-based customers reside in Shanghai and Guanzhou. We still had users travel from far away regions to attend the Beijing conference. All of the attendees were expert users.
During the presentations, four applied cases were given by companies and research institutions. Experienced users, such as Emerson and FAW, discussed UAES and other new users. All presenters discussed their experiences regarding how simulations were utilized in their designs. The participants were earnest, often drawing near the screen during the Q&A sessions to have exchanges regarding each of the individual results.
The actual conference was held on the second day, but the first day was also very lively as well The main event of the first day was the exhibition booths, and all of the users dropped by to ask questions have discussions. The end result was one-on-one study session type gatherings. Every year the conference ends up in a style such as this.
Members of DJAJ-China, the local distributor, also participated in giving applied case presentations and technological discussions, giving us a sense of reassurance. We also formed very strong bonds with the users, and we learned a lot from how communication takes place with the users. In China the development of motors for electric vehicles is booming, furthering the need for JMAG. We hope to not miss our chance to further expand JMAG into China with the help of our distributor.
