[Vol.065] Steady-state short-circuit operation of a PM brushless machine – I
As the start of a new series, the 65th seminar examines the steady-state short-circuit operation of a brushless permanent-magnet machine, which is one of the most important test conditions. Often thought of as a special or dangerous test, the short-circuit operation is knowledge critical for designers. This series not only touches on the depth of this design concept but is also packed with expertise helpful on the development floor. These seminars take a step away from convention to provide insight essential for engineers.
In addition, we have published columns on various themes.
We recommend first taking a look at “An engineer’s diary”.
