[Vol.071] Equivalent circuit & phasor diagram
The 71st seminar reviews and systematically organizes the basics of equivalent circuits and phasor diagrams for synchronous machines and examines the relationship with finite element analysis (FEM). The video also touches on the difference between calculating the characteristics directly and calculating the characteristics through post-processing using FEM to clarify when to take advantage of equivalent circuit parameters in designs and evaluations. This seminar provides information essential for designers struggling to understand FEM results and anyone else who might want to review synchronous machine analysis.
