Bug Fixed

RID Content
92977 Fixed an issue where the intended calculation results may not be obtained when the input voltage changes significantly in one step or when the sample time changes significantly from the previous step in a simulation using a Simulink (voltage signal input) block.

[Case]
This problem occurs when the following conditions are satisfied.
* JMAG-RT computations with Simulink (voltage signal input)
* Input voltage changes greatly like with PWM applied voltage on/off switching, or the sampling time varies greatly
* Using a JMAG version after the August 2009 service pack release

[Problem]
If the applied input voltage start time is changed, the JMAG-RT model analysis results may differ from those before the change.

[Workaround]
The symptoms disappear by using a reduced time step for calling JMAG-RT within Simulink and keeping this time step constant.

[Additional information]
Support has been added for fixed steps (RID 94738) as of the service pack released in June 2020.
Support has been added for variable steps with the release in May 2023 or later.

94738 Fixed an issue that caused induced voltage time steps to be misaligned by one step when performing analyses that used MATLAB/Simulink step solvers with three-phase permanent magnet motor spatial harmonic models.

[Problem]
Induced voltage item values are misaligned by one step.

[Additional information]
When these conditions are satisfied, calculation results may differ slightly from previous results due to recalculation.

94104 Fixed an issue where q axis inductance would temporarily become larger in simulations using JMAG-RT Simulink blocks (JMAG_RT_pmsm_SimulinkLogic.slx).

[Error condition]
This issue occurs when all of the following conditions are satisfied.

  • Using Simulink blocks (JMAG_RT_pmsm_SimulinkLogic.slx)
  • q axis current is minute in size

[Symptom]
q axis inductance will become momentarily larger.
