Overview

One advantage of induction heating is that it is easy to adjust the temperature of the object to be heated. It is possible to adjust the heating speed and heat retention time by controlling the power supply. By using subroutines in JMAG, it is possible to run current control analysis by feeding back the temperature (Fig. a).
This document explains how to control work piece surface temperature by using user subroutines and the coil current amplitude as a manipulated variable.
