Overview

In product development, multiple design proposals are compared and investigated by changing the shape dimensions and input conditions. In doing so, parametric analysis capable of both changing the values of set design variables, as well as evaluating the effect that this has on results, can be particularly useful. In JMAG, by using coordinate systems according to each part, sketches of more flexible shapes are possible.
Using local coordinate systems means that parametric analysis can be run with the positions of coordinate systems as parameters.
This document describes the method for using local coordinate systems to create shapes and changing the shapes parametrically.
