High Speed Measurement System for Improving Accuracy of Magnetic Properties of Material Database

Abstract

Accuracy of magnetic properties of material database is one of the important preconditions of magnetic field analysis, especially, high magnetic flux density region such as over 1.5T. AC magnetic properties measurement of electromagnetic steel sheet needs to feedback-control the magnetic flux density waveform to sinusoidal wave. However, non-linear magnetic characteristics affect increase of the feedback time at high magnetic flux density region.
We developed the magnetic flux density waveform control system mounted FPGA hardware, instead of software control. It makes shorten the measurement time by 1/50, and provide more accurate magnetic properties by decreasing distortion and amplitude ratio.
