The Future of Data-Driven Design Unleashed by AI

With the evolution of AI, we are transitioning from an era where "humans operate tools" to one where "AI agents operate JMAG to autonomous design." Through synergy with AI, JMAG will drastically accelerate the reality of data-driven design.

Key Benefit

  • Automated Workflows via Natural Language: Users simply input natural language, and the AI agent automatically generates scripts to fully automate workflows.
  • Self-Healing Error Correction: The AI automatically detects and resolves error messages returned from JMAG, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Zero Learning Curve for New Analysis: Since users no longer need to master JMAG operations, they can explore and test new analysis themes with minimal effort and cost.

Use Case

AI-Driven Scripting Generation and Full headless Operation

We have further enhanced our Python script support. AI automatically generates JMAG scripts from natural language instructions, executing massive amounts of computation without disruption through a "full headless operation" that bypasses the GUI completely.

Seamless Access to Unique Features

JMAG’s proprietary capabilities—such as the Winding Editor, Efficiency Maps, and built-in multi-physics—are provided as highly responsive, integrated packages that handle complex processing internally. This "advanced modularization" allows AI agents to efficiently and accurately incorporate JMAG operations into the workflow.

Knowledge Infrastructure and Libraries for AI

We are expanding dedicated resources to help AI correctly understand JMAG's functionalities:

  • Script Library
A broad spectrum of code assets is published online for AI to learn from and reference operational procedures.
  • HTML Reference Help
Enables AI to comprehend the physical meaning of functions and parameter specifications, allowing it to perform context-aware, precise configurations.

JMAG Script Library

To enable AI to learn and reference operational procedures, a collection of JMAG script samples has been published in a publicly accessible location. JMAG Script can automate almost every function in JMAG. Script help documentation has also been provided so that the AI can understand the purpose of the functions and parameter specifications, allowing it to configure accurate, context-driven settings.

JMAG Script Library
  • Overview:
This section describes the purpose of the script.
  • Preconditions:
This section describes the data compatible with the script.
  • Script Function:
This section describes the settings specified (run) by the script.
  • Sample Script:
This section provides a sample of the script that users can copy or download.

Example from the JMAG Script Library
The scripts available on the website, along with the APIs, cover everything from the condition settings to processing results. Each sample script includes an overview, preconditions, information about specifying (running) settings, and sample code. Generative AI uses this data to learn while trying various operations to fulfill user requests.
