"Brush up on Motor Design!" Vol.77 has been released!
"Brush up on Motor Design!" by Prof. Miller, an authority on motor design is available on our website.
From beginners in motor design to experts in design and analysis, this content can be of reference to everyone.
The following webinars have been published this month.
You can view it not only in English but also in many languages!
[Vol.077] Electric Machines II
As the second installment in the Electric Machines series, the 77th seminar focuses on torque, one of the most important parameters in electric machines, and basic sizing. Classical design theories typically calculate torque using different formulas for each machine type. Using DC motors, brushless DC motors, and switched reluctance motors as examples, this video explains a unified approach to understanding the physics of torque production based on the energy-conversion loop.
The seminar provides essential insights for engineers and designers seeking to understand the nature of torque in electric machines beyond machine-specific formulas and its relationship to electric and magnetic loadings as well as the finite element method.
In addition, we have published columns on various themes.
We recommend first taking a look at "An engineer's diary".
