Overview

Geometry created with CAD software is loaded into JMAG-Designer using import functions. Even if the loaded geometry is amended using CAD software, conditions and other such settings can be inherited by using a model update function (Fig. a). This function for updating models is useful during calculations for optimizing geometry using CAD software.
This document demonstrates how to inherit settings for CAD files when updating them using a script that assumes when to use optimization tools.
