Overview
In order to evaluate the transient response characteristics in magnetic design, not only basic characteristics but also the control system may need to be taken into account. Particularly in a magnetic device with a drive system, it is possible to express the actual motion states in more detail by taking into account the control system used. In JMAG, a control block can be defined using circuit data and displacements as state variables.
In this document, how to calculate the harmonic loss of a current controlled (PWM controlled) motor is described.
