Overview
In the initial stage of motor design, various combinations of motor types, numbers of poles, and numbers of slots are investigated and a design that satisfies the design requirements is searched for. By using the geometry library and winding editor in JMAG, it is possible to easily perform parametric analysis in which the number of parts vary.
In this document, how to perform parametric analysis on a motor with the number of poles and the number of slots as design variables is presented.
