Overview
Given a mesh model, morphing is a way to change certain dimension values and shapes without changing the number of nodes or number of elements. When using the morphing function, a shape change is accomplished by moving specified edges, or nodes on faces. There is a method for moving which includes moving surrounding nodes, and a method for moving only the nodes on the specified edges and faces. The former changes the shape while maintaining the mesh density, and the latter changes the shape with minimal changes to the mesh.
In this document, the procedure for moving only nodes in a mesh model on specified edges using the morphing function is presented.
