Overview
Conventionally, coil settings have been a complicated process when creating FEA analysis models. There is a tendency for there to be a large number of slots when accounting for large machines and eccentricity in particular, causing mistakes in settings. By using the winding editor in JMAG, coil settings can be carried out with considerable ease.
This document explains methods for setting the coils of a 3D model using the winding editor.
