Overview

In actual manufacturing, electromagnetic steel sheets undergo a process of being punched out with a press. It is due to this process that the end parts of steel sheets deteriorate, resulting in poor magnetic and iron loss characteristics compared to a state where steel sheets are wire cut.
It is possible for magnetic field analysis and iron loss analysis to account for the effect of this kind of residual strain in JMAG.
This document explains the procedure for executing magnetic field analysis and iron loss analysis that account for residual strain.
