Overview
In the initial stages of motor design, several design proposals are evaluated as the motor type, the numbers of poles, and numbers of slots are changed. Designs that satisfy maximum torque, output power, and maximum speed requirements are narrowed down throughout this process. The motor properties of each design proposal can be evaluated at a high speed by using efficiency maps (speed priority mode) in JMAG. By registering evaluation items as response values during these times, the narrowing-down process can proceed efficiently from a large number of design proposals.
This document describes the procedure for registering maximum torque, output power, and maximum speed as response values, and confirming each of those values.
