Overview

When running an analysis that accounts for the effect of coil ends, there is concern that the number of elements may increase and convergence may worsen if a complex shape coil is modeled in a solid shape using a 3D analysis.
With JMAG, creating complex shape coils using beams and adding line current to the coils is expected to reduce the number of elements and improve convergence.
This document explains how to calculate using line current conditions in magnetic field analysis.
