Overview

Geometry optimization is a promising technique to produce innovative designs but imposing proper constraints on dimension parameters is crucial to exclude unmanufacturable and insufficient-strength designs.
JMAG enables users to impose optimization constraints on any dimensions without changing geometry constraint settings.
This tutorial describes the procedures to run an optimization with a constraint on a dimension which changes depending on design variables, with a use of the measurement variable feature.
