Overview

Thermal designs are more important than ever as motors pursue further miniaturization and higher speeds.
JMAG takes advantage of equivalent thermal circuits to facilitate analyses that account for cooling and thermal resistance between parts. These simulations can automatically configure an equivalent thermal circuit and specify the heat transfer conditions while users visually confirm the cooling channels and cooling system layout. User can manually edit the equivalent thermal circuits and condition settings as well.
This tutorial describes the procedures to configure a thermal analysis model using the thermal modeling features while confirming the cooling channels and geometry.
