Abstract
A coupled-numerical simulation tool, including electro-magnetic field analysis, PWM inverter circuit simulation and vector control logic, is developed. The torque ripple caused by inverter and vector control logic can be analyzed with the tool. The simulation result is very close to the experimental result and the effectiveness of the tool to simulate electrical motors is proved.
