This paper describes examples of permanent magnet motor having concentrated windings using FEMAP as a pre-processor to make one analysis model using both magnetic field analysis model and structure analysis model. In FEMAP outlines of model are modified and elements are created. Then FEMAP model data are translated to NASTRAN data and JMAG imports this NASTRAN data.
Another example is a comparison of model difference between FEM model and FEM+BEM model. The magnitudes of fundamental component in center of gap flux density are compared and it is clarified that the results of analysis are good agreement.
