Abstract
In CATV systems transmission devices are required to be operable in an extremely wide frequency range of 10-2600MHz because of a rapid increase in the number of TV channels and bi-directional services related to a digital TV broadcasting. This paper reports the results for the finite element analysis of the transmission characteristics of a broadband splitter developed for that purpose.
