Abstract
An analysis of a claw pole rotating machine is described. In analyzing a claw pole rotating machine, three-dimensional calculation is required for the geometry of claw pole is special. Therefore modeling rotors has been proceeded. However the geometry of coil end of stator also determines the machine’s property. In this case effects of coil end geometry on a claw pole rotating machine are investigated by using JMAG’s coil end modeling function.
