An analysis of a claw pole rotating machine is described. In analyzing a claw pole rotating machine, three-dimensional calculation is required for the geometry of claw pole is special. Therefore modeling rotors has been proceeded. However the geometry of coil end of stator also determines the machineâ€™s property. In this case effects of coil end geometry on a claw pole rotating machine are investigated by using JMAGâ€™s coil end modeling function.
