Abstract
An innovative design process using JMAG that is enabled only by SHERPA, a hybrid and adaptive optimization algorithm embedded in HEEDS, will be presented. In addition, the following useful techniques that take full advantage of JMAG based design space exploration will be demonstrated: (1) collaborative optimization between SHERPA and engineer, (2) a technique to reduce CAD errors by dealing with semi-independent design variables, and (3) an approach to effectively search design space by updating the constraints.
