Abstract

In transformer design, it is essential to study loss using magnetic field analysis. In recent years, three-dimensional magnetic field analysis for large power transformers has also become possible in practical time.
In this presentation, an example of the improvement of convergence in the three-dimensional magnetic field analysis of large power transformers conducted by our company is introduced, where the cause of convergence deterioration is identified and the countermeasure is described. In addition, the computation time when using parallel computing is described.
