Abstract

Considering the end users’ requirements of fast charging, and the maturity of SiC, more and more OEM selected high voltage battery system (800V) into vehicle application, but it’s a big challenging to Electrical motor, which is the key power component of Electrical drive unit. Based on high voltage application in EDS, the presentation will discuss the effect of high voltage system on drive motor performance, make a comparison of simulation and test results, finally, we would like to introduce the finding, which could bring some ideas for high voltage motor design.
