Abstract

Coil geometry and heating conditions are two key factors to induction heating that determine the temperature distribution (quality).
This case study ran induction heating analyses. By taking into account the cooling conditions as well as the rotation and translation motion, these simulations successfully obtained quantitatively valid results.
This presentation will then share results of a coil shape optimization that takes advantage of the induction heating analysis results to realize better heating performance.
