Part 1 | EM Design | A different approach to motor design
EM power conversion design process has drastically changed last decade. The approach has been shifted from experiment base spreadsheet calculation to massive comprehensive analysis supported by the numerous numbers of data. In this session, we walk through JMAG’s advanced top-notch EM component design process, starting from a quick 2D template to large-scale topology optimization enabled by massive parallel computing power.

Part 2 | SIL | Concurrent control/power electronics design
In modern drive system design, EM component designs, power electronics designs, and control designs are in a close, complementary relationship. Computer-aided engineering tools for machine drive systems also have evolved around that relationship. In this session, we see how state-of-the-art simulation technology helps us to observe and gain from the interaction between EM component design, power electronics and control systems.

Part 4 | HIL | Verification & validation
High-fidelity ultra-fast verification and validation for EM drive systems is now possible by using HILs. Prototype tests using digital twins allow us to bring the system’s durability to the next level. In this session, we discuss the power of speed and the accuracy that modern HIL systems and JMAG offer.
