Overview
Designers have a need to use parametric analyses in electric machine design for the purpose of evaluating how modifications to the geometry affect the machine characteristics. The use of direct modeling in JMAG enables users to easily modify geometry imported from data created in an external CAD system.
This document describes the procedures necessary to run a parametric analysis of geometry using direct modeling.
