Overview
In response to increasing demands within the electrical appliance design space, optimized designs are validated through various processes of trial and error. Attempts have been made in recent years to optimize topology capable of making significant changes to geometry itself, with innovative design proposals not yet considered until now gradually being produced.
JMAG provides the opportunity to envision new ideas for magnetic circuits by executing topology optimization using the on / off method. If a large number of holes form in the obtained geometry, it is important to confirm whether or not such holes have an effect on response values, and to determine whether or not the holes are necessary.
This document describes how to efficiently analyze the presence or absence of an effect on hole response values when a large number of holes are generated as a result of topology optimization.
