Overview

Modeling a system that more closely replicates the actual machine is essential to temperature evaluations of electric machines. However, precise modeling requires a high level of customizability to reproduce a system because the drive conditions and machine geometry heavily influence the thermal circuit used for temperature evaluations. JMAG provides a feature that enables users to define the thermal resistance of a thermal circuit using Python.
This tutorial describes the procedures to specify thermal resistance using Python scripts.
