Abstract
Any magnetic material has anisotropy intrinsically. In this paper, a method for nonlinear magnetic field analysis taking account of the so-called 2-D magnetization is described. The 2-D magnetization property can be observed in a thin sheet of magnetic material such as a silicon steel sheet. When the proposed method is added in commercial software as a useful function, it will be possible to develop a new design method for magnetic circuits.
