Abstract

The new feature of JMAG-Designer Ver.12 enabled the visualization of space harmonics magnetic flux vector and that’s flux lines distributed over the motor. This innovative feature lets our study which space harmonics power is utilized for field magnetization instead of permanent magnets accelerate more. In this presentation, the theory of the self-excitation wound-field motor and drive characteristics of that one is reported. In addition, the advantage and the possibility that can visualize space harmonics is reported.
