Abstract

In recent years, the application of high frequency reactors is increasing in the PV inverters and EV/HEV power conversion. Noise is the problem that always needs to be taken into account. The noise problem can mainly be categorized by two causes: the magnetic vibration made by high frequency current and the vibration caused by natural frequency of reactors. Since it is extremely hard to predict the noise or vibration generation level compared to the electrical characteristic of reactors, it is necessary to use CAE. In order to obtain the natural frequency of reactors, the eigen mode analysis has been executed. Resulting comparative study with the actual measurement is presented in the paper.
