Abstract

Research and development in recent years has actively engaged in creation of a highly functional integrated magnetic transformer, a next-generation power electronics technology item that unifies the functions of several power magnetic devices. Advanced technology has succeeded in incorporating into the single highly function integrated magnetic transformer the accumulation of four electromagnetic functions: insulation, voltage transformation a resonant inductor that brings about resonance phenomena, smoothing inductor that smoothens output current and a noise control filter. Development of the highly functional integrated magnetic transformer uses the new dual electromagnetic circuit analysis method or finite elements method to contrast magnetic and electronic circuits. We will give descriptions of these new technologies.
