With more and more attentions paid to environmental problems, we are pushing forward the development of products using solenoid valves such as a high pressure fuel pump and an injector of automotive direct-injection system, and thus it has become very important to predict the solenoid valve motions before trial manufacturing.
In this study, we proposed an analysis technique, which can predict solenoid valve motions based on a two-way coupled analysis of magnetic field and fluid, and applied it in new product development.
