Challenges Moving from Static to Dynamic Analyses: The Merits of Introducing Transient Response Analysis

Toshihisa Akutsu
San-Eisha, Ltd.

Abstract

High-voltage switches for 6.6kV are the main product of our company, using solenoids as the source of drive.
These solenoid designs are used in JMAG static magnetic field analyses, but transient response analysis was additionally introduced in anticipation of the move towards a future of investigating new forms with the objective of the differences from actual circuits used, in addition to reductions in cost.
In keeping with this addition of transient response analysis, we will be introducing topics that include “investigating expansions (additional introductions)”, “post-introduction merits”, and “expanding the scope of investigations into solenoid design”, in addition to our experience in selecting and verifying modules, and more prospects for the future.
