Abstract

Multi-degree-of-freedom spherical actuators realize high-precision movements at high speeds via the miniaturization of the mechanism and simplification of control. This anticipates application to fields such as industrial robotics. Factors that influence analysis accuracy were examined alongside an investigation into improving that accuracy in relation to the simulation of torque for a spherical actuator.
